I'm super late posting this, but a couple of weeks ago we went on a spontaneous weekend trip to Georgia to see the snow and just escape for a little bit. Needless to say, the trip was amazing and such a nice start to the new year! Here are some of my favorite moments:
On the way there, we stopped by Horse Pens 40 (at least I think that's what it's called).
We got to climb around on these giant rocks and walk around for a little while. I never thought I'd say this, but there's something so peaceful about sitting in the woods surrounded by these giant rocks. It really reminds me of how big the world is and how small I am.
We walked around some, and of course, when Tessa spotted this tree she had to go hug it:
After we left, we went and stayed in our Airbnb which was the CUTEST converted school bus, called the Grilled Cheese Wagon. I didn't take any pictures, but you can see some on their website. These Airbnb hosts have a couple of different school buses and even have a converted train car, their place is called Nomad's Land, and is in Alabama if you want to head to Airbnb's site and check it out!
Lookout Mountian
After we stayed the night in our Airbnb, we headed to see lookout mountain with hopes of seeing snow. Again, here are some of my favorite moments:
While we were walking around Lookout Mountian, light snow started to fall, which was so cool to see, but that was our queue to leave lol
Once we got back on the road, we headed to the next Airbnb, which was a cool garage converted to a cabin on the inside. Again, I didn't take any pictures, but it was also on Airbnb's website if you want to check it out.
We stayed in the cabin for two nights, and did end up getting snow!
Note: These pictures will be in the Moments section of this website, along with some of my other pictures if you want a closer look.
